Hill Farm Holiday Cottages Ashdon - Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Reservations & Confirmation
If you wish to make a reservation please contact Mr or Mrs Bel by phone 01799 584881 or email to check for availability and give your requirements with your contact name , address and phone number.A booking form will be sent by return post, which we ask you to fill in . To secure your booking we must receive your booking form by post, within 7 days with the deposit. We ask you to sign on the booking form that you agree to all the terms and conditions of the property let, which are on the back of the booking form, so please read them carefully.

2. Payment
Prices are per property based on the amount of nights. On the receipt of a booking form, fill in all the details and return it with a 40% deposit. The full payment is due 4 weeks before the holiday, only cheques or postal orders are accepted , sorry we do not accept credit cards. By arrangement the remaining payment can be made in cash to the owners , to be paid in full on arrival before key collection.

3. Arrival & Departure
Please arrange an approx arrival time by phone, if there are any changes inform us if possible. For key collection and any final payments go to the Hill Farm House or Hill Farm Garage on the right by the Nursery School, as you come up the Hill Farm front drive. Please ensure the keys are returned to the owners on departure. Unless by prior arrangement the following will apply: ARRIVAL after 3.30 pm DEPARTURE before 10.30 am.

4. Cancellations
Immediately inform us if a booking has to be cancelled, a deposit is non refundable and non transferable, unless adequate time is given to relent the property.

5. Party Numbers & Disturbances
The owner reserves the right to refuse admission where more than the maximum number of persons occupy the property. The owners reserve the right to refuse any booking without explanation and ask quests to leave. This will be treated as a cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made, the owner accepts no liability if this situation arises. Noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 11pm.

6. Hirer’s Responsibility
The hire shall be for holiday purposes only and shall not confer on the hirer any security of the terms of the Housing Act 1988. All equipment and property must be left clean and tidy, any breakages must be reported to the owner. Hirer’s may be charged for extra cleaning, breakages or damage. Smoking is not allowed inside the property.No pets are allowed,only service dogs. Tenants will be responsible for not allowing them on the furniture and removing any evidence left. Hill Farm is a working farm with extensive open grounds and dangerous farm machinery, children must be supervised at all times. A copy of the country code is provided in the information pack.

7. Liability
The owner shall have no liability of personal injury, unless it results from negligence by the owner. The use of amenities where offered are entirely at the user’s risk. No responsibility can be accepted for injury, or loss or damage to user’s or visitor’s belongings including vehicles. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the owner, a holiday has to be cancelled, the owner will contact the hirer immediately, refunding all monies paid, no other compensation, expenses or costs will be payable.

When signing the booking form the hirer has agreed to all the booking terms and conditions as above.
